Install the browser extension (Chrome or Edge)

The MailManagers Auto Signature browser extension automatically appends your active signature to every new email in Gmail web and Outlook web (outlook.office.com, outlook.live.com, outlook.office365.com). No more copy-paste, no more forgotten signature on replies.

The extension is available for both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. Pick the install that matches your browser.

Install in Chrome

1. Open MailManagers Auto Signature in the Chrome Web Store.
2. Click Add to Chrome → confirm in the popup.
3. (Recommended) Click the puzzle-piece icon in the top-right of Chrome and pin MailManagers Auto Signature so you always see it.

Install in Edge

1. Open MailManagers Auto Signature in the Edge Add-ons store.
2. Click Get → confirm Add extension in the popup.
3. (Recommended) Click the puzzle-piece icon in the top-right of Edge and toggle the eye open next to MailManagers Auto Signature to pin it to your toolbar.

First use

1. Sign in on app.mailmanagers.be in the same browser where you just installed the extension (already signed in? you're good).
2. Click the MailManagers icon in your toolbar. The popup shows which signature is currently active.
3. Have multiple signatures? Pick the one you want auto-inserted in the popup.

From now on, every new Compose window in Gmail or Outlook web gets your signature appended automatically, exactly as designed in MailManagers — banners and banner rotation included.

Does it work with my work Google account?

Yes. The extension works on mail.google.com whether you use a personal or Google Workspace account. Same goes for outlook.office.com / outlook.office365.com.

Banner group rotation

Have a banner group linked to your signature? The displayed banner rotates automatically based on your group schedule — the extension fetches the currently scheduled banner each time.

Known limitations

• Desktop only — works in Chrome and Edge on Windows, Mac and Linux. Firefox and Safari: not supported for now.
• Not for Gmail/Outlook mobile apps — those have their own signature settings. Use Install / Copy in MailManagers instead.
• Outlook desktop (Windows / Mac) is out of scope; use Install / Copy with HTML import there.

Switching server environment (developers / staging)

The extension connects to app.mailmanagers.be by default. For staging testing:

1. Right-click the extension icon → Options.
2. Under Server URL pick Staging · staging.mailmanagers.be and click Save server.
3. Make sure you're signed in on staging.mailmanagers.be.

Updating

Chrome and Edge update extensions automatically. To force an update:

• Chrome: go to chrome://extensions/ → toggle Developer mode on (top-right) → click Update.
• Edge: go to edge://extensions/ → toggle Developer mode on (bottom-left) → click Update.

Removing

• Chrome: go to chrome://extensions/ → click Remove under MailManagers Auto Signature → confirm.
• Edge: go to edge://extensions/ → click Remove under MailManagers Auto Signature → confirm.

The extension stores no mail content. We only read your MailManagers session cookie (to fetch your active signature) and inject HTML into new Compose windows. See our browser extension privacy policy for full details.
