Install your signature in Outlook
Outlook desktop and web — different paths, same result.
Install your signature in Outlook
Outlook comes in several flavors. Steps differ by version.
Outlook for Windows (classic)
- Click Install / copy in MailManagers.
- Click Download HTML (.htm file).
- Open the file in a text editor or browser and copy all content.
- In Outlook: File → Options → Mail → Signatures.
- Click New, name the signature.
- Paste in the editor.
- Right side: set which signature is the default for new mails and replies.
- Click OK.
Outlook web (outlook.com / Microsoft 365)
- Install / copy in MailManagers → copy the preview block.
- In Outlook web: gear icon top-right → View all Outlook settings.
- Mail → Compose and reply → Email signature.
- Paste, name your signature.
- Choose if it auto-attaches to new mails and/or replies.
- Save.
Outlook for Mac
Similar to Windows: Outlook → Preferences → Signatures → click + → paste and save.
Known issue: borders
Outlook desktop sometimes strips inline CSS from signatures, causing unintended table borders. MailManagers generates HTML with double safety mechanisms (border="0" HTML attribute + inline CSS) to prevent this.
