Signatures
Install your signature in Gmail
Step-by-step guide to setting your MailManagers signature in Gmail webmail.
Install your signature in Gmail
Gmail (gmail.com and Google Workspace) supports rich-text signatures. Follow these steps.
Steps
- In MailManagers, open your signature and click Install / copy.
- Click Copy HTML or select all in the preview block and copy (Cmd/Ctrl+C).
- Open Gmail in your browser.
- Click the gear icon top-right → See all settings.
- Scroll to Signature in the General tab.
- Click + Create new and name your signature.
- Paste (Cmd/Ctrl+V) into the text field.
- Below, set which signature is used by default for new mails and replies.
- Click Save changes.
Tip
In settings, Gmail shows your signature with placeholder values for images — that's normal. In a real mail, the images load correctly.
Common issue
If your signature looks like plain unformatted text, you copied from the wrong source. Reopen Install / copy in MailManagers and copy directly from the preview block — not from a downloaded HTML file in an editor.
