Install your signature in Apple Mail

Apple Mail needs a specific trick to preserve images and layout correctly.

Steps

1. In MailManagers: Install / copy → Apple Mail tab.
2. Select all in the preview block (Cmd+A) and copy (Cmd+C).
3. Open Apple Mail → Settings (Cmd+,) → Signatures tab.
4. Select a mail account on the left, click + to create a new signature.
5. Important: at the bottom, uncheck "Always match my default message font" — otherwise Apple Mail rewrites your styling.
6. Paste the signature in the editor on the right (Cmd+V).
7. Drag the signature to the correct account in the list (otherwise Mail won't use it).
8. Optional: at the bottom, choose which signature is default for new mails.

Why uncheck?

If "Always match my default message font" is on, Apple Mail replaces your layout with its own font styling — colors and spacing get lost. Unchecking lets Mail respect the HTML from MailManagers.

Tip

Test by sending a mail to yourself from Apple Mail. That way you see exactly what a recipient sees — not the settings preview.
