Add a disclaimer, confidentiality notice or legal text.

Disclaimer and legal mentions

For some sectors (legal, financial services, healthcare), a disclaimer or confidentiality notice is required under every outgoing mail.

Adding a disclaimer

  1. Open your signature and go to the Disclaimer tab.
  2. Type your disclaimer text (in any language or even multilingual).
  3. Choose whether to show it in smaller font size (typically 10-11px) and lighter color (gray tone).
  4. Save.

Common disclaimers

Confidentiality (general): > This email and any attachments are confidential and intended solely for the addressee. If you are not the intended recipient, please delete this email and inform the sender.

Company info (B2B requirement in some EU countries): > Company Name BV · Registration 12345678 · VAT BE0466170320

GDPR notice: > We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR. More info: link to privacy policy.

Tip

Keep the disclaimer short. Long legal blocks reduce the impact of your actual signature and annoy recipients. One clear sentence beats four paragraphs.
