Set up banner scheduling
How start and end dates work, and what overlap or gaps mean.
Set up banner scheduling
Each banner can have a start and end date. This determines when that banner is visible in signatures.
Three scenarios
1. Banner without scheduling
No start or end date set โ banner is always visible (as long as it's active).
2. Banner with start date only
Banner appears from that date and stays visible until you deactivate it.
3. Banner with start + end date
Banner is only visible between those dates โ typical for seasonal promos or events.
In a banner group
When you put banners in a group:
- Consecutive periods โ the system switches automatically on the change date
- Overlap โ banner with the most recent start date wins
- Gap โ signature shows no banner during the pause (you get a warning)
Reminders
You automatically get email notifications:
- 7 days before an active banner expires without successor
- 4 days before expiry
- 1 day before expiry
So you never go bannerless unnoticed.
Toggle reminders
Under Account โ Preferences you can disable banner expiry reminders if you prefer to manage scheduling yourself.
